I teach a steady Hatha flow, bringing balance and harmony to the body by connecting movement back to breath. A typical class requires students to hold each yoga posture for longer, to engage with their bodies on a deeper energetic level. I first discovered the benefits of yoga whilst leading a very busy life in New York City 10+ years ago. My yoga journey has since taken me to many parts of the world, including India, Spain, Canada, Bali and Hawaii, where I have taken part in retreats and workshops. I have immersed myself into various styles of yoga, including Bikram, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Hatha, Yin and Trauma Informed Yoga. It was here in Australia that I formalised my yoga training and qualified for my 200-hour teacher training certificate in July 2017 and a further 100-hour of yin training in 2019. I enjoy bringing a warm helpful energy to each of my classes, ensuring all students feel welcome and are comfortable within their practice. I am interested in working with small groups and run regular Programs for studios and groups, including Corporates.
