February 2020 Update

February has been a crazy month for us. We launched, finally, and the response has just been overwhelming. We now have on the platform:

• 88 users
• 7 studios
• 4 jobs

Having got the product into people’s hands, the rest of the month was about talking to as many people as possible, and improving the product as quickly as possible. Here are some of the things we’ve improved since our launch at the start of the month.

Locations

Teachers can now set the locations they want to work at. This way, studios aren’t reaching out to someone in Manly for a job in Newtown. This just saves everyone time!

Safety Checks

Previously, safety checks—insurance, CPR, and first aid—were just listed alongside qualifications. We’ve since split them out into their own section. In the future, we’ll add verification of these safety checks, as well as keeping them up-to-date in regards to expiries and renewals.

Filters

You may have noticed a redesign to the Teachers page. You can now filter by Discipline, Location, and Safety Checks. There will be more filters coming in the future, but these were the most wanted, so we prioritised them.

Job Candidates

This is one of the most exciting features. Immediately after posting a job, you can view a list of suggested candidates, and request the ones you like in only 2 clicks!

And all of this is just since launching a mere 3 weeks ago. We can’t wait to see what March has in store for us!
